Data Security FAQ's
1.How do you protect my statement passwords and user IDs?
Your personal information is entered through Secure Socket Layer (SSL), which creates an encrypted connection between your browser and our servers. We cannot view your personal user names or passwords for any of your statements - this information is kept encrypted at all times.

2.Who has access to my Member ID?
You create, and only you know your Member ID password. No one can access your Member ID unless you provide him or her with this information. No ConsumerSay Panel employees have access to your password.

3.How is my statement information protected during transmission?
The transmission of data is protected using industry recognized encryption standards, including 128-bit RC4 and Triple DES. Users' passwords are transmitted and stored in encrypted format at all times.

4.Where is my statement information stored?
Your information is stored on servers, which are securely housed in the Exodus© Vault™ a revolutionary Internet server hosting space that provides enhanced physical security, fire protection and electronic shielding. Security personnel monitor the system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Access to servers requires multiple levels of authentication, including biometric (hand print scan) procedures.

5.How is my information protected from outside intrusion or "Hackers"?
Network-based intrusion detection systems (IDS) provide 24x7 network monitoring and alerts us to any external attempts to access the network. In addition, multiple layers of firewalls are used to guard against unauthorized access to the network.

6.What happens to my statement information if I unsubscribe from the service or just stop using it?
Once your request has been received, your information will be securely and permanently deleted from our database OR your Member ID will be automatically deleted from the database after six months of dormancy. Also, if for any other reason your membership in the ConsumerSay Panel is terminated, your information will be securely and permanently deleted from our database.

7.How frequently do you evaluate your security systems?
The security infrastructure is regularly audited or inspected by firms that specialize in security processes and technologies, including quarterly audits of network and security policies and procedures by industry recognized IT security auditors.

8.Is my account information protected during a "service outage" or "scheduled maintenance"?
In the unlikely event that the service is temporarily unavailable, your account information remains secure in the Exodus© Vault™, and is protected by stringent Network-based and physical security measures.

9.Is my personal identity protected?
We will not sell or share your personally-identifying data with anyone. Our Privacy Policy describes, in detail, how we will protect your personal privacy and keep your personal information secure.
